The Northeast Tennessee Valley Regional Valley Industrial Development Association, Inc. (NETVRIDA), a Tennessee nonprofit corporation, was founded in 1989 to promote industrial/economic development in the northeastern region of the Tennessee Valley. Membership in NETVRIDA is comprised of electric power distributors in the 13-county region (10 counties in Tennessee and 3 in Virginia) along with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). The agency is one of seven similar organizations founded by TVA and power distributors in the TVA's southeastern USA power distribution area. The NETVRIDA Board is composed of the General Managers of the regional power distributors along with representatives from TVA.
